About Us

With a name like Loved You First Farm we expect the question, "what is the name all
about?" Well, the name is everything to us as it is a beautiful reminder of my father and the love that he and my mother instilled in us. As our family grew, we all became very purposeful to say, "I love you" when we left each other. It became a back and forth of "I love you" and "I love you more" until one day my father said, “I loved you first.” From then, our time together ended with, "I love you, I love you more and then I loved you first." There was a sign that hung over the door as we left my mother and father’s home that read, "I loved You First." As I was thinking of a name for our kennel and little farm business, I knew that it had to be, Loved You First Farm. My mother and father certainly loved me more than I could have ever asked, they loved me first, and I will love them always. We want you to know that on this farm, with these animals, from dogs to pigs, to chickens and goats, we loved them first and as they leave our farm, our home, and head to yours, may love abound and they be treated well. We pray they bring you much joy and that you know we loved them first.
